I finally got to get out and do some ice fishing...yes in Kansas! The ice was about 5 to 6 inches thick and there was nothing to be worried about. Except there was one guy out there who was drugged out there in a BOAT! It was pretty funny. He even had a life jacket on. I could so tell that I wasn't in Minnesota ice fishing.
